Who or what is really alive today?
Being beyond Das Beckwerk and Funus Imaginarium.

A seminar arranged by the Funus Imaginarium Think Tank, Das Beckwerk and the Department of Arts and Cultural Studies, Copenhagen University

Friday the 19th November: A seminar on the death and burial of the state citizen Claus Beck-Nielsen. On art, politics, identity, life and death.

The seminar will not only deal with the event of Funus Imaginarium but also with the more general questions that arise from the grave, so to speak. For this purpose we have invited a very competent and varied crowd of speakers that will enrich the day with different perspectives on the issue:

Das Beckwerk, The Think Tank Funus Imaginarium, Susanne Christensen, Kirsten Marie Raahauge, Rane Willerslev, Centre for Wild Analysis, Lars Östman, Mikkel Thorup og Lilian Munk Rösing.

Furthermore there will be a premiere screening of a new documentary on das Beckwerk and Funus Imaginarium. The seminar will end with a big discussion in plenum.

No sign up is needed, participation is free and everybody is welcome.

Time and place: Friday the 19th of November, at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Kgs. Nytorv 1, København K

The seminar is arranged by students at Copenhagen University in cooperation with das Beckwerk
